Seeing, hearing and interacting with the world's finest artists makes for a truly unique and edifying experience, and each year, Taikoz is privileged to present artists of international renown at our Ultimo teaching studio. The International Series of workshops and classes provides players with a unique opportunity to learn from the absolute best.
Coming up: Kodo Distinguished Member Chieko Kojima presents...
Those who have seen Chieko perform on the taiko know that she combines tremendous grace and power with musical sensitivity and a very nuanced sound... it is beautiful to both eye and ear. On Sunday, February 19th at Taikoz’s Ultimo Studio (Sydney), Chieko will present her unique Onna-uchi (women’s style) taiko (men, you're most welcome, too!)
These workshops are open to experienced taiko players and numbers are limited to 14.
The concession price of $80 is available to our student body who have booked a 2017 Annual Membership.
