The ATA Ensemble focuses on high-level performance, challenging repertoire and demanding rehearsals. Needless to say, it is also fun!
The ATA Ensemble is open to all ATA Members who are enrolled in a weekly class and entry is by audition. The ensemble rehearses on Friday evenings 7:44-9:15pm in the Taikoz dojo and has access to Taikoz’s amazing instrumental batterie. Taikoz Artistic Director Ian Cleworth is the (non-playing) director of the ensemble, with other Taikoz Artists leading rehearsals from time to time.
To apply for the ATA Ensemble:
- Send your application by email to ad@taikoz.com and c.c. mailto:learn@australiantaikoacademy.com.au
- Please write your name and what 2026 weekly class you attend (no other information required)
N.B. If you wish to apply for the ATA Ensemble after the term has begun, please contact Ian at ad@taikoz.com and an audition can be arranged.
