Tom was an active member of Taikoz from 2008 to 2018 and was seen performing taiko, percussion and dance on stages Australia-wide and internationally. Tom spent spent time in Japan stuydying the traditional dance form called Onikenbai with Iwasaki Onikenbai Hozonkai and was also a keen member of the Sydney Onikenbai Club for many years. Also a composer, Tom composed and produced Taikoz's mainstage production and CD, TaikoDeck.
Having undertaken extensive studies in theatre practice, Tom is now pursuing a career as a theatre and film director and actor, and lives in Melbourne. Tom directed Taikoz's 2017 mainstage production of Chi Udaka that subsequently toured Australia and India, and occasionally performs as a Taikoz Guest Artist.
