Seven Flowers: Highlights on FB & Vimeo

Author: ICle

Date: Mon 27 Apr 2020

Last year, Taikoz presented a new show called "Seven Flowers". I can safely say that it was our most ambitious project in 22 years!
The theme was inspired by Zeami Motokiyo’s 15th Century, once-secret treatise Fushikaden (Zeami, the great Noh playwright and theoretician).

Our production featured the 'seven flowers' of Taikoz & close associates. Between us, we cover the 'seven ages of the artist', according to Zeami's definitions & explanations. Fushikaden is a very wise, observant & deeply humanistic work & this is our response to Zeami's ideas.
Over the course of the next few weeks, we will post short highlight clips of each Flower, preceded by short video introductions by each artist.

Head to our Facebookpage &/or Vimeo page to view these gerat performances! In late May we will screen the entire concert over two nights - details to come.
