Last weekend, Kitakami Michinoku Geino Matsuri took place in Iwate Prefecture, Japan. Taikoz members Ryuji Hamada and Sophia Ang were lucky enough to take part in the festival after a week of intensive training with Iwasaki Onikenbai Hozonkai. Take a look at these pics - they were invited to dance with the Sado Onikenbai team, led by our dear friend Yoshikazu Fujimoto, and there is a nice article on Sophia who began learning Zen Mai with Jin-san.
