Goodbye Yoshikazu, Yoko & Melanie

Date: Thu 14 Jun 2018

What a wonderful week we've just experienced with Yoshikazu, Yoko and Melanie, aka Sannin Angya.

Beginning with Taikoz's fascinating voice lesson with Yoko, followed by a hard-working odaiko lesson with Yoshikazu, and then heading into two stimulating and thoroughly enjoyable rehearsal days, followed by a wonderful concert at the Darling Quarter Theatre, and finally, a weekend of workshops for 28 taiko players from Sydney, regional NSW, Tasmania and Melbourne, there is no question that we've all experienced something special.

On behalf of Taikoz, I extend my heartfelt thanks to the three of them... what a great team!

Let's hope it's not too long before we catch up again, and maybe next time, we can tour the program to other states. From the lovely photo that Melanie took, we've got the poster nailed already!
