Digital Dojo on the go!

Second day of filming for our new educational platform - Digital Dojo! Claudia recorded a 7-lesson module on learning an ensemble piece called Kazan (supported by Sophia & Ryuji) and Sophia recorded a video on 'Bachi: Choice & Care'. Yesterday, Sophia also completed a series of lessons on Anton's Dirt Rhythm, which is a piece popular with several school taiko groups. Soon they'll be able to access these lessons as a resource in learning the music.

We have all this week & next to film a whole range of learning modules that range from instruction of some of Taikoz's ensemble pieces for use by community & school taiko groups, taiko basics, warm-up exercises, chappa basics, stage craft etc etc...

We should have 12 or so in the can by the end of next week, which we hope to launch on the new Australian Taiko Academy Digital Dojo website by the end of this year.

We'll be adding to it over the coming years, with a whole range of resources and info for the interested taiko player. A way to go yet, but we're on the move... we'll keep you in the loop!
