Coming Together is coming together

06 Aug 2022

After a global pandemic, people displaced around the planet and 18 months of lockdowns, Taikoz, Ensemble Offspring and The Coming Together Band featuring Waangenga Blanco as narrator have decided it’s high time we all come (back) together again. So, what better way to do so than collaborating on Fred Rzewski’s 1971 Minimalist classic, Coming Together! And in a spirit of celebration, the World Premiere of Australian composer Luke Styles’ Songs And Grooves for winds, synthesisers and taiko and Ian Cleworth’s Horizon – a tour de force for taiko, percussion and electronica.

We're playing at the Blue Mountains Theatre on July 30 and at Sydney's York Theatre (Seymour Centre) on August 6.
(The performance in Canberra on August 12 has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and look forward to returning some time in the near future).
