Catch Taikoz on stage at one of Sydney’s biggest and brightest South East Asian cultural celebrations as Fairfield City Council’s annual Cabramatta Moon Festival is back this September.
Visit the heart of Cabramatta as it comes alive with excitement, colour and be part of this ‘Must See’ experience.
Traditionally, the Moon Festival is seen as a time in the community for family and friends to come together so they enjoy each other’s company and celebrate good fortune and health. These days the event is celebrated with a diversity of foods, cultural performances, the famous lion dances, fireworks, and most notably the Moon Cakes.
The Cabramatta Moon Festival is filled with extraordinary entertainment across three live stages showcasing the best cultural talent on offer. Audiences will be captivated by a multitude of things to see and do and 2016 will be another spectacular program not to be missed!
Date: Sunday 4 September, 2016
Time: 9am–8pm: Gourmet food and market stalls
11am–8pm: Entertainment program & fireworks finale
7.30pm: Taikoz on the man stage on Arther Street, just before the fireworks
Venue: Cabramatta CBD. Road closures will take place in John Street, Park Road, Dutton Lane, Dutton Lane Loop, Railway Parade and Arthur Street, Cabramatta.
