Taikoz has a really exciting year on the mainstage coming up. Here's a brief rundown & please put the dates in your diary... & tell your friends, too! Full details will be up on our website & FB soon.

First up, you'll see the Taikoz 4tet featured on the Sydney Gay & Lesbian Choir's »Rise Up!« program at the Verbrugghen Hall on Friday MARCH 22 as we help them celebrate their upcoming tour of Japan. Come & wish them well!

In May, our »Taikoz 4tet Live!« program hits the road. You'll be able to catch us in Grafton at the Clarence Valley Conservatorium on MAY 3, Brisbane at QMC on MAY 4 & Byron Bay at the Byron Theatre on MAY 5 ... and if it sells out, MAY 6, too!

After returning to Sydney, we'll soon begin preparing for our July tour of »The Beauty Of 8« which features the internationally renown - and thoroughly fabulous - KODO Distinguished Member Chieko Kojima, & our own international star of the shakuhachi, Grandmaster Riley Lee. Longtime Taikoz member and taiko-dynamo Anton Lock is returning from OS to join us once again. We'll be performing at the Port Macquarie Glasshouse, Canberra Playhouse, Newcastle Civic Theatre, Penrith Playhouse and NIDA Playhouse Sydney. Full dates and booking details will be up soon.

A brand new program called »Seven Flowers« will receive its premiere at the City Recital Hall Angel Place in October. This is very much in the development phase, but already it is shaping up to be a wonderful program of new music. We'll keep you updated about its development.

There are other exciting mainstage performances on the horizon, all in various states of discussion & development. We hope to see you at one - or all - of them! Let your friends know about our out-of-Sydney engagements. Keep an eye on FB, our website & eDMs for details. Thank you for your support.
