Taikoz introduced the IDP Ensemble (IDPE) in 2017 with the express aim of focussing on the study and performance of music from the Taikoz repertoire. Artistic Director Ian Cleworth leads the training sessions with occasional contributions by Taikoz members.
The IDPE provides a platform for players to continue to develop their taiko skills through exploring the music, styles and aesthetic of Taikoz, and will include a performance late in 2018. IDPE rehearses at the Taikoz Ultimo Studio on Saturdays 2:30-4:00PM. 2019 dates are listed below.
